Online & Mobile Banking Security Upgrade

New Security Upgrade Implemented. Government's New Requirements For Safe And Strong User IDs And Passwords Will Make Online and Mobile Banking More Secure. Preview The Security Upgrade.

To keep your security strong, you will no longer be able to use your Member Number as your User ID. Read the frequently asked questions for more details about this upgrade and what you can expect.

In addition, User IDs and Passwords must include the following:

  •  User IDs must be between 6 to 12 characters in length and contain at least 1 letter and 1 number
  •  Passwords must be between 8 to 12 characters in length, contain at least 1 number and 1 lowercase letter, and cannot contain blanks 

Action Needed Now

Get a verification code. The first time you log in to Online Banking after April 16, 2013, you'll be prompted to enter your phone number. We'll use this phone number to immediately send you a verification code via text or automated voice message. You will also be able to get your code via e-mail.

Please note: You can ask the system to remember your computer or mobile device so you do not need to repeat this step every time you log in. However, you will need a new access code for each computer or mobile device not recognized by the system.

When you log in to Online Banking for the first time after, you will see the following. Note: These are not all the steps, just ones we feel you will benefit from by seeing in advance.

Once your User ID and Password meet the new criteria, you'll be asked to enter up to two phone numbers and one e-mail address at which to receive one time verification codes. For your phones, you can choose to receive your one time verification codes by text or voice call. You can also use an international phone number as one of your choices.

To complete the verification process, choose the phone to receive your one time verification code. Once you receive the code, enter the code in the box.

To avoid going through the verification process every time you log in to Online Banking on the computer you are currently using, check the box next to Skip identifying myself this way in the future for this computer. Even if you check this box, if you log in to Online Banking on a computer you've never used before to log in you will go through the verification process at that time. Click the Finish verification button to finish and continue to Online Banking.
