Associated Credit Union is now accepting applications for the Ronald K. Ford Scholarship
ACU’s Ronald K. Ford Scholarship pays tribute to our esteemed Board of Directors member, renowned for his commitment to leadership, sports, and community service. A devoted educator, Mr. Ford passionately advocated for education and sought to create opportunities for students to excel academically.
Offering four $3,500 scholarships, we aim to recognize graduating high school seniors who embody Mr. Ford’s enthusiasm for learning, leadership, and community involvement—students who aspire to make a positive impact both on and off the field.
One such student, Lex Ghana, a recipient from last year, shared, “Receiving the scholarship helped provide some of the financial assistance I needed to live on campus. This opportunity allowed me to be more engaged with the student body, enriching my overall academic experience. The money from the scholarship also allowed me to stress less about working and dedicate more time to volunteering with the Sustainability Club, where I contributed to making our campus more environmentally friendly.”

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate high school in 2026
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Be accepted into an accredited college, university, or technical school
- Apply with the required documentation by Tuesday, March 31, 2026
Application
Applicants will need a YouTube account.
- A public link to a 60-second YouTube video addressing one of the following:
- Share how you have positively impacted the community.
- Describe a challenge you have had to overcome and what you have learned from it.
- Upload two reference letters:
- One from a school official (e.g., coach, counselor, teacher)
- One from a non-family member (e.g., employer, friend, neighbor)
- Upload official high school transcript and undergraduate acceptance letter
