ACU Wallet FAQs

Q. How much does the ACU Wallet App cost?
A. ACU Wallet is a free app, offered to both Android and iPhone users.

Q. Is the ACU Wallet App connected to the ACU Mobile App (Online Banking App)?
A. No, the two apps are not connected to one another. You must set up a separate set of login credentials for each app.

Q. Can I add a card from an outside financial institution?
A. The ACU Wallet App supports ACU debit and credit cards only.

Q. Can I view transactions associated with my ACU debit/credit card?
A. Yes. The last 10 transactions for each card will be displayed underneath the card image.

Q. Can I view my other ACU accounts?
A. You can view your Primary Share Account as well.

Q. How long does it take the card suspension feature to become active?
A. Once you suspend your card, it is effective immediately. Once you reinstate your card, it is also reinstated immediately.

Q. If my phone is lost or stolen, how can I reinstate my card?
A. Please call our card services department at (770) 448-8200 to have your card reinstated.

Q. What should I do if I cannot remember my username or password?
A. Select the “Forgot?” link on the homepage. A one-time code will be delivered via email. From there, you will Input the code into the app, which will allow you to create a new password.

Q. Can I use Face ID to login to the app if I have an iPhone X?
A. Yes, Face ID is recognized as a security method through ACU Wallet.

Q. If I need assistance with my card or the app after normal business hours, who can I contact?
A. Please contact Visa DPS at 1-866-895-7622 to report an issue with your card.

Q. Is there a limit on the number of cards that I can add?
A. No, there is not a limit for the number of cards added.

Q. Am I able to add multiple cards from different account numbers?
A. Yes, you can add multiple cards from different accounts.

Q. Can I submit a travel request, limit increase, or a debit or credit card application through the ACU Wallet App?
A. Unfortunately, you cannot submit these types of requests through the ACU Wallet App. Many of the forms for these requests can be found at under the “Financial Tools” section on the "Forms" page. You may also apply for a debit or credit card by logging into Online Banking and accessing the “Additional Services” tab.

Q. I cannot remember the email address that I registered with the ACU Wallet App. How do I find it?
A. To find the email address associated with the app, select the menu button and select the “Settings” menu. Under user profile, select “Manage Email Addresses.” From here, you can view the current email address, and add additional ones if you would like.

Q. What happens if I am locked out of the app?
A. If you are locked out of the app, you will receive an email alerting you of the account status. As an extra security measure, you will be required to wait 60 minutes before gaining access to the account.

Q. If my card is suspended, will recurring transactions continue to post?
A. Since recurring transactions are considered pre-authorized, they will continue to post, despite the card status. For questions regarding which transactions are considered to be recurring, or to request a stop payment on a recurring transaction, please contact our Card Services Department at (770)-448-8200.

Q. Can I permanently close my card(s) through ACU Wallet?
A. No. The suspension feature is a temporary blocking of non-recurring transactions. To permanently close your card(s) due to loss, theft, or fraud, please contact our Card Services Department at (770)-448-8200.
